We celebrated World Bee Day with the little ones

May 23, 2025

This past Wednesday, May 20th, at Agrícola Andrea we celebrated World Bee Day with a very special day—filled with learning, tenderness, and a strong commitment to caring for the planet. This time, we visited IEI 209 at CEP Bernales, where we held a simple and engaging talk with the children about the importance of bees for life on Earth.

We spoke about their vital role as pollinators, how they directly impact food production and the balance of ecosystems, and how important it is to protect them through our everyday actions. The children participated with enthusiasm, curiosity, and plenty of smiles—showing that a love for nature can be nurtured from an early age.

As part of the celebration, we organized a costume contest using recycled materials, where each child became an adorable little bee, proudly wearing colorful and creative outfits made from cardboard, paper, bottles, and other reused items. The search for “the cutest little bee” filled the air with joy and gave us unforgettable moments—reminding us that environmental education can be just as fun as it is powerful.

At Agrícola Andrea, we believe that planting awareness in future generations is a key part of our mission. Activities like this inspire us to keep working toward a more sustainable future—one where respect for life and nature is present from day one
