Desertification of farmland affects 1/6 of the world’s population. It creates widespread poverty, hunger, and despair amongst those living of the land. It results in the degradation of a whopping 12 million hectares of farmland EVERY YEAR.
We decided to step to the challenge and did our part to make a difference: developing massive grape farms in desertic, unusable land devoid of water resources.
To meet our goal, we had to innovate and pull together our best resources; a team of stellar specialists, our decades of experience in farming, innovate in farming methods, and invest heavily upfront in infrastructure.
In this way, we turned the dessert into a grape producing oasis, while promoting local development and addressing climate change, leaving the world a bit better than how we found it.
